Every tier comes with a license that says what you may do with the files you export and the objects you print. This page is the plain-language summary; the binding text is in the license terms.

Personal use

The license of Basic and Maker.

  • Print your designs and accessories as often as you like, for yourself, your home, your workshop — and as gifts, as long as nobody pays for them.
  • Share photos and videos of your boards anywhere.
  • Not allowed: selling prints, or selling, publishing or sharing the exported files.

Commercial — physical prints

The license of Commercial. Everything in personal use, plus:

  • Sell physical prints made from your exports: boards, panels, signs, and accessories printed from the library — at markets, in your online shop or as commissions.
  • Not allowed: selling, publishing or sharing the files themselves.

Commercial — prints and digital files

The license of Commercial Plus. Everything in the physical-prints license, plus:

  • Sell the digital files (STL/3MF) of designs you make with the four workflows — shaped panels, infinite pegboards, SVG and text designs — for example on a model marketplace, as custom designs for clients or as print-ready downloads.
  • Not allowed: selling or sharing accessory files.

Accessory files are never for resale

On every tier, files exported from the accessory library are for printing only. You may not sell them, bundle them with your designs, upload them to model sites or share them in any other way. On the Commercial tiers you may still sell the physical accessories you print.

Artwork and fonts

  • Your own SVGs — you need the right to use the artwork. Logos, characters and trademarks belong to their owners; your Pegboard Maker license doesn’t cover them.
  • Built-in shapes — they are part of the workflow designs you make, and your license covers them the same way.
  • Fonts — the text workflow uses open-licensed fonts (SIL Open Font License and Apache 2.0). The letter shapes in your designs are covered by your tier’s license; the font files themselves are never included in exports.

Which license applies to a file?

The license that applies to an export is the one of your tier on the day you exported it, and the export records it in its README and 3MF metadata. If you upgrade later, export a design again to get files under your new license.
